What’s a High Tea?

Chai’s High Teas are made fresh to order from quality ingredients. They just ask you give them 24 – 48 hours notice, to ensure High Standards are maintained. The High Tea consists of A selection of finger Sandwiches, Cheese Scone, traditional Bara Brith, A Selection of our Homemade Cakes and Sweet Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam, oh and of course we supply the tea from our own brand Gower Tea Range.

That Special Occasion or Kind Thought

Do you know someone having a celebration like a Birthday or an Anniversary, a birth of a newborn? Then why not give them a surprise with a High Tea? One client ordered a personalised Cake for a couple who were supposed to get married that day and thought it a nice idea gesture. Many people are keeping in touch with this tasty gift, just to say “Hi, thinking of you” or “Missing you so much thought I’d drop you a little something”. Many are sending people High Teas as a thank you for something they’ve done like looking in on an elderly relative and reciprocating that kindness. We can also adapt or recipes to meet dietary requirements, such as Gluten-Free, Lactose intolerant cakes, and scones to a Vegan recipe.

Chai Delicatessen has a great reputation for homemade cakes and a fantastic repertoire of the unusual. Our customers love the Orange Drizzle Cake, the infamous Guinness, and Chocolate, how about Nectarine White Chocolate Yogurt and Pistachio. The choice goes on and on. Again cakes can be made for exactly the same purpose, that special occasion, a thank you, an anniversary or Birthday.
